The Rutgers Senior Leadership Program for Professional Women
Designed by and for women leaders advancing to highest levels in industry, this elite program is limited to 24 executive women from a broad spectrum of Fortune 500 companies. It is housed at The Institute for Women’s Leadership on the beautiful Douglass Campus at Rutgers University. Developed by The Next Level Inc., and co-sponsored by The Rutgers Institute for Women’s Leadership and The Center for Women, it draws upon the resources of leading scholars, seasoned executive coaches, and consultants dedicated to advancing diversity and women’s leadership.

During one-on one-coaching and workshop sessions spread over a period of months, candidates receive unparalleled support and encouragement in

• recognizing and valuing their contribution and potential;
• creating a focused career plan;
• forging powerful alliances and networks;
• enhancing executive influence and presence;
• taking action to advance themselves and their organizations.

A unique feature of this program is the support participants receive between workshop sessions. Candidates apply what they learn back on the job with the support of on-going executive coaching and the powerful Success Circles™ (peer mentoring groups) that are the hallmark of this program.

Members of The Rutgers Senior Leadership Program for Professional Women contribute to evolving research on women’s leadership through panel discussions, focus groups, and research projects overseen by various University Centers. These include The Center for Women and Work, The Center for American Women and Politics, The Institute for Research on Women, and The Center for Women’s Global Leadership.
